Snow in May?

Nah.  Actually, we had a pretty bad storm roll through here yesterday afternoon/evening.  We were driving home from the gym when it started.  Rain, lightning, thunder, wind, and hail.  Mega hail.  It was so so so loud.  I actually pulled off the road until it stopped.

By the time we were home, the storm had passed and the boys were pretty excited to inspect the hail.  Yes.  It almost looks like snow.  We didn’t get diddly for snow here this year.  So we joked that we got more hail accumulation this year than snow.  The boys “ordered” me to get my camera and take pictures.  So of course, I had to follow orders.

Here is a full view of the front of our house.

Here is a close-up.

For some reason, the hail was in a pile at our garage door.

There wasn’t quite enough to make snow angels, but they were both very eager to taste the hail.  Go figure.  Nathan loved it; yet he doesn’t like ice cubes.

Luckily, we are all safe.  My car is fine too.

Hope you are having a great week.

Love, Frosty the Hail Man.
