For our last day in Florida, we took the boys to Universal Studios. My friend, Kim, suggested we take the boys there as it was Merry Grinchmas time there.
We arrived and walked the 3 zillion miles from the car to the park. HaHa. We went right to the Dr.Seuss area. The boys loved the Cat in the Hat ride; I thought there was too much spinning. Then the boys rode the One Fish Blue Fish ride and got wet; they thought that was super cool.
Then we got to meet the Grinch. He was the best Grinch. Nathan just laughed as the Grinch told us to move along and get out of there after the photo. HaHa!
We then went and rode the ABC Sneeches Train…much more my speed.
Andrew (my little thrill seeker) and Daddy rode the Flying Unicorn roller coaster! That was by far his favorite ride!
We headed to the other side of the park. We all rode the Nicktoons Jimmy Neutron Blast simulated ride. And Nathan got to pose with one of his favorite character, Sponge Bob.
We watched University of VA marching band perform…that was cool. We walked around and checked out a lot of the areas; so many of rides are for much older kids.
We went back to Seuss Land and rode the Cat in the Hat ride again.
I reccommend that you get a Fast Pass if you go to Universal. We did not and people with the passes were riding over and over while we were still waiting in line. Kinda irritating.
By dinnertime, we were all ready to go. Exhausted. Our feet hurt. Our legs hurt. But boy we had fun.
